Through the One Moment Education Program, we equip educators, coaches and community leaders with the tools, language and lived experience presentations needed to genuinely connect with young people. Our expert led sessions help build awareness, strengthen culture and foster accountability before tragedy strikes.

Free School Presentations for All Schools

Presentations are completely free of charge for all schools. While there is no cost to attend, we gratefully accept donations to help us continue our mission of keeping young people safe.

The “One Moment” Education Program

First-Hand, Impactful Storytelling: A powerful, one-hour presentation delivered directly by founders Brett and Belinda Beasley. They share the story of their 17-year-old son, Jack Beasley, to highlight the profound, long-term impacts of youth violence on victims, offenders, families, and communities.

The presentation includes video testimonials from Jack’s brother and friends, offering students a powerful, firsthand perspective on how a single moment of violence can change lives forever.

Delivered in partnership with the Queensland Police Service, officers provide crucial information on knife legislation—including “Jack’s Law”—and offer practical guidance on preventing victimisation.

Empowering Actionable Strategies:

Students are equipped with situational awareness skills to reduce victimisation and practical strategies to safely avoid confrontation.

Three-Pillared Intervention Framework:

The program incorporates three key components proven effective in reducing knife crime: Education, Focused deterrence for at-risk groups, and Outreach and mentoring.

Flexible & Tailored Delivery:

The presentation is suitable for students from Year 7 to Year 12. It can be completely tailored to meet the specific demographic or scheduling needs of your school.

Why Schools & Clubs?

Schools and sporting clubs are at the forefront of youth development, shaping character and culture during critical years. For Schools: Curriculum-Aligned Safety

Our workshops are designed to integrate seamlessly into existing school wellbeing, health and pastoral care programs, supporting schools in meeting their duty of care obligations. We equip educators and students with proactive strategies to mitigate risk both within and beyond the school gates, reinforcing that safety extends into public transport, social spaces and community events. The program empowers student leaders to champion a clear “Zero Knife” standard, strengthening peer to peer mentoring and positive culture. We also provide practical understanding of legislation such as Jack’s Law and how proactive policing contributes to safer community environments. The result is a structured, evidence informed approach that helps schools create safer, more aware and more accountable student communities.

For Sporting Clubs: A Team-First Approach

Sporting clubs play a powerful role in shaping character, discipline and accountability. Violence doesn’t just happen on the street, it affects team culture, reputation and the safety of players, families and supporters. Our “Off Field Excellence” sessions help clubs take a proactive leadership role in knife crime prevention and youth safety. We strengthen duty of care responsibilities with practical strategies to reduce risk at games, training and community events. We empower captains and senior players to model and promote a clear “Zero Knife” standard, building peer accountability across the club. We also educate members on the impact of Jack’s Law and proactive policing, reinforcing that true leadership extends beyond the field and into everyday choices.

Practical Tools. Real Impact.

We provide a flexible, ready to deliver education model tailored to the needs of your school or sporting club. Our expert guest speakers share powerful “lived experience” presentations that connect deeply with young people. Organisations also receive resource kits, including posters, digital assets and conversation guides to support staff and parents.

Partners can adopt the JBF Safety Charter, publicly demonstrating their commitment to creating a recognised Safe Zone and leading proactive youth safety in their community.

Jack Beasley Foundation Completes Milestone WA Tour – May 2026

Our recent visit to Western Australia has officially come to a close, and the impact has been nothing short of incredible. Over the course of the trip, we had the privilege of presenting our safety message to 20 schools and two police departments, reaching nearly 5,000 students.

The engagement from the youth in WA was fantastic, and we are encouraged by the meaningful conversations started in every classroom.

A massive thank you to the Joondalup District – WA Police Force for hosting us and making our team feel so welcome, your support makes these regional tours possible. During our stay, we were also honored to meet with WA Premier Roger Cook, Police Commissioner Col Blanch & Police Minister Reece Whitby to discuss our mission. We even joined local officers for a first-hand look at a wanding operation in Northbridge.

We headed home with full hearts, but we’ll be back soon – see you later this year for the next 20 schools!
